The ERC is delighted to welcome Prof Federico Milano as Associate Professor who has recently joined the School of Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering.

Prof Milano received an Electrical Engineering degree and Ph.D. degree in 1999 and 2003 respectively from the University of Genoa, Italy. From 2001 to 2002 he was with the University of Waterloo, Canada, as a Visiting Scholar. He has recently joined UCD as Associate Professor from University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. He is Senior Member of the IEEE and editor of the IEEE Transactions on Power Systems. His research interests include power system modelling, stability and control.
