Universitas 21 (U21) is an international network of 23 leading research-intensive universities in fifteen countries. All Universitas 21 member institutions are research-led, comprehensive universities providing a strong quality assurance framework to the network’s activities.

The U21 Graduate Research Conference on the theme of Energy will be hosted by University College Dublin from 19^th-22^th June 2013. The conference will include presentations from energy experts, student competitions, activity sessions, a careers workshop and external energy stakeholder site visits.

This conference will be the optimal environment for U21 graduate research students in the energy field to showcase their research findings, and network and socialise with international experts. The conference is underpinned by three core principles: i) a student centred focus, ii) a collaborative character, and iii) applicability to graduate employment.

Each Universitas 21 Partner University was invited to nominate 3 graduate research students to participate across the three themes of this event: Energy- Systems, Policy and Solutions. Registration is now closed.
